Biography

Amarjit Singh is a transformational coach helping people realize their potential. He uses Scientific Hand Analysis to get to the core of a person’s being, Transformational Coaching, based on the principles of yoga psychology, for the encouragement and guidance to live their potential, with Kundalini Yoga Therapy, for the physical and mental attitude to put it into action. In addition to counseling people, he is a Kundalini Yoga Instructor and writer.

He has been analyzing hands, as well as teaching scientific hand analysis for over 11 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from California State University, an MBA in Financial Management and Markets from Arizona State University, is a KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, has studied Psychology and Writing at the University of California, Los Angeles, bass guitar at the Musician Institute, Hollywood, and Hand Analysis at the International Institute of Hand Analysis in Los Angeles.

Amarjit’s counseling, workshops, lectures, and writing come from the depth of his life experiences. Not only does he counsel people to live their unique lives, he lives his own. He has many experiences to draw from, in a wide variety of fields. He has held jobs ranging from construction worker to investment banker on Wall Street. His life has been anything but conventional.

Amarjit was born in New Jersey where he was one of five children born to an Italian-American father and a Russian-American mother. His family relocated to Arizona when he was ten years old. He then moved to Los Angeles at the age of seventeen to attend music school where he studied bass guitar and performed locally with his band. Feeling the need for more education he then decided to attend college.

Amarjit worked his way through college where he went through the philosophy, psychology, and business programs, ultimately graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business. Upon graduation he was ready for his next challenge.

Amarjit then moved to New York City to work on Wall Street. After a successful three-year stint on Wall Street as an Investment Banker and Capital Markets Consultant, he then moved to Arizona to attend graduate school where he earned an MBA specializing in Financial Management and Markets.

At graduate school Amarjit was looking for a creative outlet. So he combined his philosophical and psychological observations with his writing and sense of humor, performing as a stand-up comedian at local comedy clubs.

Upon graduation, he returned to Los Angeles to take a position with a biotechnology company doing strategic planning. By day, he worked in an office and at night continued to perform at local comedy clubs. Moving into the entertainment field, Amarjit took a position with Walt Disney Studios as a Senior Business Planner while continuing to perform stand-up comedy. Finally realizing that he could no longer tolerate the confines of an office he resigned to pursue more creative endeavors.

Amarjit continued performing at local comedy clubs, as well as touring the United States performing nationally. Meanwhile, he attended the University of California, Los Angeles, taking courses in writing and continuing his studies in psychology. At this time, Amarjit met a hand analyst and was immediately drawn to the science.

Seeing the validity in hand analysis and the potential assistance it could provide in counseling, he began his journey into psychochirology. His research included - analyzing hands every chance he could, poring through various texts, studying with other hand analysts, and studying at the International Institute of Hand Analysis.

Interested in expanding his horizons, and already having been to every state in the United States (except Alaska), Amarjit decided to move to Europe to continue his work.

In Europe, Amarjit has lived in Madrid and Barcelona, and currently resides in Berlin. He travels throughout Europe and North America where he conducts workshops, lectures, and provides counseling.
